Mexican golfer Lorena Ochoa seemingly has it all. Not only is she Mexico’s top female athlete, but she also happens to sport the most amazing head of curls!

Many Hispanics in the United States look up to Ochoa, who has been a somewhat permanent fixture on the LPGA Tour for several years. Amazingly, she has held the No. 1 spot for the last three!

I’m back in South America and since my last visit I’m noticing more and more women wearing their hair natural. In Argentina and Brazil straight hair is a sign of status and curly hair is sometimes associated with the lower class. Every week women rush to salons to get their hair blown out.

Being in South America and meeting with the media in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and Columbia has been such an eye opening experience.

I’m finding that women would love to wear their hair curly; they just needed to learn how!  When I speak to them they’ll look at my curls and smile and confess that since I’ve been promoting curls in Latin America they have been trying to wear their hair curly and really enjoying it.

Many do get mixed opinions on their curls but they don’t seem to mind.  One woman told me her husband loves her curly hair but when they attend his business parties he asks her to wear it straight because he has an image to uphold.

Aquí te compartimos unos tips de Ouidad sobre cómo lograr esa transición a lo natural de una manera fácil y exitosa.

1.  Si hablamos de shampoo, lo mejor para el pelo crespo es usarlo una o dos veces por semana.

2.  Acondicionar tu pelo puede ayudarte en los mejores y peores momentos. Con amplia humedad tu pelo se mantendrá manejable durante la transición. Para mejores resultados, deja una pequeña cantidad de acondicionador en las puntas de tu pelo para añadir humedad.

3.  Entre menos estilices tu cabello, mejor lucirás tus rizos. Asegúrate de no sobre acariciarlo y no lo estés tocando durante el secado.

Manteniendo estos tips sencillos revelarás lo hermosos y saludables que son los rizos que siempre has tenido. ¡Ouidad te ayuda a hacerlo fácilmente!
