The Winners  and their Curl Confessions:

I would like to win the Deep Treatment because today is the first day of my “overhaul”. My husband got last minute orders that sent him away yesterday for the next 6 weeks and I decided he will come back to a “new and improved” wife. We have a 4 year old and a 21 month old, and I have 20 pounds of baby weight I have been way too comfortable with, but it needs to go…I have the same bottle of Climate Control Gel . I bought in February, because I don’t do my hair, haven’t worn make-up and wear old Land Rover T-shirts I got for free from a friend who works at Land Rover when I take my daughter to Karate. All of these things have got to change. Work-out regimine begins today, 6 week countdown begins today and a free Deep Treatment would be a sweet treat and a nice boost to get things where they need to be!

A few confessions of my own:
*My curly hair is so dry that when it rains, my hair absorbs it all before it hits the ground.
*My curly hair is so frizzy that I am often mistaken for a clown.
*My curly hair is so weak that strands snap right off when I put a hat on.
*My curly hair is so dull and course that birds mistake it for tree bark and try to build a nest in it.

Oh, Ouidad Deep Treatment, come bring me those nourished, sleek, strong, shiny curls I know you can…

I deserve to win this product because, quite frankly, my life sounds almost identical to yours. I too have a full time job, three children (one of them being a middle schooler – I totally relate to the whole homework thing *YIKES*), a husband, and in addition, I care for my aging parents. Did I mention that all three of my children are girls with THICK kinky/curly hair? I could definitely use a product that will make styling all that hair a little easier :) Thank you!!!

Ashley

Spotted at St.Mark’s Place, NYC!

Occupation: Vintage clothing-wholesale and retail

Hometown: Originally California, but I live in Australia and Italy now.

So what are you doing in New York?

I’m opening an online store, so I’m in New York sourcing stock.

How would you describe your personal style?

Chaos!

What’s one word you would use to describe your curls?

Low maintenance.

How do you care for your curls?

I don’t really do anything to my hair…just wash shampoo it at night, get up, and go. And I don’t use any product in my hair.

What advice do you have for curly haired girls?

The key is definitely a good haircut. And also to work around your flaws…Wash hair at night, condition it, comb in the shower when hair is still wet and sleep on it.
