i have never clipped up my hair before, and this is the hardest part for me to learn. are there any videos that show this part of the styling a little more slowly? what kinds of clips are used to hold it in place?

    Dear Mandy,

Thank you for writing in, the clips used on the informational video are called the Ouidad duck bill clips; these long metal clips are often used to hold rollers in place or are used to position wet hair. Remember, how your hair looks, when it’s dry, depends greatly on what you do with it when it’s wet. The hair’s shape and style can be influenced or encouraged by the positioning of the roots at the moment it begins to dry. Use these Ouidad duckbill clips to direct your curls, create height, or style hair away from the face. For your reference we have included and informational video to show you how to use the Ouidad duck bill clips, hope this helps, as they are essential in adding volume! If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us. Thank you and have a great day.

Please note; the duckbill clips are to be removed once your curls are semidry/dry and or when you have achieved the desired volume.

    Best,
