Ouidad: Making the Curly Cut

Curly-haired kids sometimes have a tough time at the local barbershop or even the kiddies’ salons. Despite the convenience of those establishments, it’s quite likely that the person doing the cutting doesn’t specialize in curly hair. For better or for worse, haircuts for those with curls are totally different from haircuts for straight-haired kiddies!

That’s why Ouidad offers training for stylists to become Ouidad Certified. At these intensive training sessions, Ouidad shows stylists how to Carve & Slice, deep treat and style all kinds of curly, wavy and kinky hair. Check out one of these training sessions in this video:

    My baby’s hair is presently curly but I can’t tell if that is just because she hasn’t had it cut yet. Thanks for this post. Her hair is so beautiful hopefully your tips will help me keep it that way.
