    Hello!

Thank you for writing in, yes deep conditioning is the key to beautiful curls; you must deep-condition your curls at least twice a month. By restoring nutrients lost through everyday life, your hair will maintain its internal weight, and your curls will remain vibrant and bouncy! This eliminates the need for topical acids, such as non breathable waxes, silicones and oils to weigh it down and provide artificial shine.

Nourishing treatment often use heat to soften the hairs proteins and replenish the hair with vital nutrients lost to environmental aggressors such as wind, air conditionings and blow drying. Remember the simple act of shampooing is also dehydrating because the warm water opens the cuticle, and the cleansers flow into the hair shaft and rinse out many of the nutrients. When you’re finished washing your hair, the cuticle is parched, the same way your skin feels after cleansing, so frequent conditioning should be an automatic part of your hair care regimen. Thank you and have a great day.
