Mexican golfer Lorena Ochoa seemingly has it all. Not only is she Mexico’s top female athlete, but she also happens to sport the most amazing head of curls!

Many Hispanics in the United States look up to Ochoa, who has been a somewhat permanent fixture on the LPGA Tour for several years. Amazingly, she has held the No. 1 spot for the last three!

Ouidad knows…we always keep our curly score up to date!

So how does the world’s best female golfer keep her curls from going loco while playing under a scorching sun, in one hundred percent humidity? We recommend our Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel. It’s perfect for active people who want to keep their hair manageable, whether playing above or below par!

And while the 28-year curly–clad Lorena recently retired from the professional golf tour, we’re convinced that she’ll miss the action, and then make a huge comeback… so we wish her the best of luck and can’t wait to see her – and her curls – back on the course!

Whether at the beach, the pool or just playing under the backyard sprinkler, our vote for one of summer’s cutest sights is that of a curly kid enjoying the water! During the hottest months of the year, kids and water are definitely a winning combination.

Although some parents prefer swim caps for their curliest youngsters—and, by the way, there are some adorable caps out there now—it’s OK to let your children’s hair get wet; just a few tips and products from Ouidad will help your kids with curly hair maintain their lovely locks even after a day of exciting water play.

If possible, wash and condition your child’s hair with Ouidad’s KRLY Kids collection after he or she spends time in salty ocean water, or in a chlorinated pool. For a quick fix, before a shower or bath is on the agenda, spritz the hair with KRLY Kids Pump and Go spray gel. And, if you’ll be spending an extended amount of time outside, protect those precious ringlets from the sun with Ouidad’s Sun Shield, a spray-in conditioner with UV blockers. (Spray it on prior to sun exposure and any time by the pool or beach when you want to create softer, smoother and shinier curls.)

With Ouidad’s advice and kid-friendly products, your child’s summer—and curly hair—will continue to be simply gorgeous!
