Ouidad: The Curl Experts

“Gimme a head with hair/Long beautiful hair”

It’s like Ouidad herself could have written that song!  After all, celebrating the glory of a full head of hair is part of Ouidad’s international curly message. At Ouidad we celebrate hair just like the title song from the Broadway musical Hair goes – “Flow it, show it!”

While we celebrate Hair’s message of self-discovery and deconstruction of stereotypes, it’s all those amazing curls on stage that we find so award-winning. The original 1968 debut of Hair had its share of controversy; today it’s still holds a message of peace and relevance to a whole new generation. And this 2009 Broadway revival of Hair is being celebrated with rave reviews like this one from the New York Times:

“Any theatergoer with a pulse will find it hard to resist their invitation…!”

So which cast members have our favorite Broadway curls?  Check out Ace Young (below) who now plays Berger.  Look at that thick head of flowing locks!
