Parents don’t Fight it: Your Kids love their Curls too!

Kids and parents alike suffer from curl conflict: how could curls that can look so cute be so hard to manage especially first thing in the morning?  It’s a challenge to detangle those curls – no fun for parents and children.

Don’t let the curl tyranny win! One idea to prevent an entangled morning is to wear a loose ponytail to bed, keeping hair from getting knotty, or producing other “wild” looks. And your child’s curly hair will be easier to manage with the right Ouidad products to help keep those tresses in order, like our Krly No More Knots Conditioner, which calms unruly young curls making them ultra-easy to detangle while moisturizing and conditioning.

When your child’s hair seems to “have a mind of its own,” remember what Ouidad says: don’t fight Mother Nature! Learn to work with the waves and love your curly hair like the character Frieda from Peanuts who was very proud of her natural locks- and that should be just as true for your KRLY KIDS too!

I love curly hair. It looks good on kids too and much easier to take care of than straight.

My daughter is 14 and her hair has really started to get curly, like mine. I’m so excited for her. She isn’t interested in styling products yet,but when she’s ready; I’ll be sharing my Ouidad products with her. I can hardly wait. For now she’s using the shampoo and conditioner, drying naturally, wah-lah she’s done!

Ugh – I can relate to this! My mom, who has naturally curly hair herself, used to fight my curls when I was a kid. In fact, she has fought her own curls for most of her life. But she would always put my hair in pigtails or cut my hair short and try to straighten it out. No wonder I grew up with a complex about my curls! But since finding Ouidad products, I have been letting my curls be all they want to be and finally loving my curly hair for the first time in my life.

Parents, PLEASE, if your child has naturally curly hair, don’t fight it. Work with it and compliment their hair so they grow up to love their natural curls!

I can say I have learned to appreciate my curls more as I have gotten older, in school I used to hate them.

My mother had/has very straight hair and never knew what to do with all the curls I inherited with my father’s genes. What will I do if my own children have curly hair? Go to Ouidad, of course!!!

My daughter has curly hair and those snarlies are a pain in the morning… but with this conditioner, we have combed those snarlies away!!!

I certainly relate. All throughout childhood both my parents have fought againts my “unruly” and “disorganized hair”. Although they never chemically straightened my hair they blowdried my hair straight after every wash. I was subjected to hair pulling and burnt earlobes routinely and needless to say my hair was totally frizzy in half an hour afterwards. My childhood would have been so much better if my parents would have appreciated my curls and if we had your products then. I don’t have children yet but I hope if I do that they inherit my beatifull curly hair and I’ll show the grandparents how to do it right this time around.

I wish my mom would have let my curly hair be. Instead she blew it dry straight every wash because she had straight hair and didn’t know what to do with mine. At almost 40, still don’t know how to handle my curls. Hoping to get lucky enough to visit the LA salon someday.
